Verticutter cassette compatible with Ryobi 18V ONE+ scarifier. This cassette utilises the Gen 2 blade design spaced at 20mm. This lightweight cassette is specially designed to work in harmony with the 18V power train of the Ryobi ONE scarifier
Verticutting, historically only available through expensive professional equipment, is now available for the keen gardener and small business alike.
The benefits of verticutting include:
- Thickening of the lawn through the encouragement of new growth
- Removal of debris from the lawn and prevention of thatch build up
- Control of weed grasses, such as POA annua, which grow horizontally
A further benefit of of verticutting, using a 4-wheel equipment configuration, is that the verticut grass is not immediately flattened by a heavy roller, leaving any weed grass seed-heads ready for subsequent cutting and bagging.
