Verticutting, historically only available through expensive professional equipment, is now available for the keen homeowner and small business alike.
The benefits of verticutting include:
- Thickening of the lawn through the encouragement of new growth
- Removal of debris from the lawn and prevention of thatch build up
- Control of weed grasses, such as POA annua, which grow horizontally
A further benefit of of verticutting, using a 4-wheel equipment configuration, is that the verticut grass is not immediately flattened by a heavy roller, leaving any weed grass seed-heads ready for subsequent cutting and bagging.
A special feature of this cassette is the high capacity spiral configuration. The cassette comprises 37 blades spaced at 10mm in a spiral pattern. This cassette is ideal for applications where high intensity verticutting is needed, e.g. larger gardens or professional use.
