Verticutting, historically only available through expensive professional equipment, is now available for the keen gardener and small business alike.
The benefits of verticutting include:
- Thickening of the lawn through the encouragement of new growth
- Removal of debris from the lawn and prevention of thatch build up
- Control of weed grasses, such as POA, which grow horizontally
A further benefit of of verticutting, using a 4-wheel equipment configuration, is that the processed grass is not immediately flattened by a heavy roller, leaving any weed grass seed-heads ready for subsequent cutting and bagging.
A feature of the gen 2 verticutting cassette is increased processing power through 15mm blade spacing and 23 individual blades configured in a spiral pattern.
